The hotel had a wonderful sitting area in the back overlooking the lake. They had chairs, picnic tables, and a fire pit. The pool and hot tub were clean and the gym looked nice as well although we did not use that. They had the best continental breakfast I have personally had! There were biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, waffles as well as your normal continental breakfast foods. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

We like the very comfortable beds and pillows we like the view of lake superior from our room. We like that there was a dehumidifier in our room because we are on the main floor out to the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was very good scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt the ladies kept the breakfast room, clean and full. check in and out was very smooth. Very nice people.

The hotel was easy to find and well-located for the activities we were planning to do. The room was spacious and clean. There was a complimentary breakfast that was good enough.

-Worth paying extra for the lake view, it was beautiful and a nice balcony to sit at. -We didn’t spend much time in the room but it was very comfortable bed, the room was pretty basic but clean -Loved all the murals! -There was a fireplace outside which was nice running between the pool and room. -The hotel was a nice distance to get to bay field and get on the tour boat. -coffee & tea available and breakfast In the morning (another favorite part for my kids) -one of the best parts was having a Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot to walk over to, and they gave us a coupon for 10% off! My kids wish we would have stayed another night to spend more time at the hotel and in the Ashland area. We will likely come back in the summer!

They had a great breakfast area with lots of options; eggs, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc. Beautiful view with seating indoor and outdoors. Rooms are spacious. Right on Lake Superior.

It was beautiful. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfy. The staff was very courteous. The indoor pool was very refreshing. The breakfast was great. We'll be making this trip again very regularly and we'll only stay at this location.

We enjoyed the location and being right on the water. Staff was very good and we had problem with internet, and Tim came and tried to fix it for us. The employees were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

One of my favorite hotels along a beautiful Wisconsin road trip. I loved everything about the room and staff. They did particularly well with the hot breakfast options, and the view of the lake while enjoying breakfast is extremely peaceful.

The location was great. We were right on Lake Superior and the weather was great. The pool and hot tub were wonderful.
